The Assistance call center provides information, orientation and referral services to support and facilitate the successful resettlement and integration of new immigrants and refugees across the United States.<\/p>\n
We provide initial services to orient refugees to life in the U.S., securing housing, addressing medical concerns, registering children in school, applying for Social Security.<\/p>\n
We coordinate with social services providers to maximize services to refugees.<\/p>\n
Our Live agent call centers are trained case managers, have in-depth knowledge of the needs and issues of immigrants and refugees in United States and abroad.<\/p>\n
They have developed expertise in the refugee resettlement system and human services practices.<\/p>\n
They have experience in working with new immigrants\u2019 community from various cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n
They Provides information about daily living, access to community resources such as, public assistance benefits, Medicaid, SNAP or Cal Fresh (formerly known as food stamps), cash assistance, and LIHEAP (Low-Income Heating and Energy Assistance Program), housing, employment, healthcare, education, banking, enrolling children in school, public transportation, starting a business, buying a home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
